Ingredients:
- Rice : 4 cups
- Onion : 1 big
- Chillies : 6
- Potato : 2 mid size
- Carrot : 3
- Beans : 200 gm
- any suitable vegetables
- Ginger Garlic paste : 2 tbsp
- Coconut paste : 1 1/2 cups
- Garam masala : 1 tbsp
- Oil : 5 tbsp
- Turmeric : 1/4 tbsp
Procedure:
- Fine chop all the vegetables. Chop Onions and chillies only vertically.
- Put oil in the pan and fry the onions,chillies.
- Add Ginger garlic paste and turmeric to to the pan and fry for 3 minutes.
- Add all the vegetables, garam masala powder. Fry them in low flame for till vegetables are half boiled.
- Add the coconut paste to the fried content and fry it for 3 minutes.
- In pressure cooker or electric rice cooker, add rice, fried content, water proportional to the rice(2 cup of water to 1 cup of rice) and cook them usually.
- Once rice is cooked stir the rice thoroughly in such way that the masala is mixed well to the rice.
